After a Tuesday audition (and having been asked to sing both Meg pieces-- in ADDITION to female reporter Gloria Thorpe's (the third female lead's) show stopping number), as well as a vigorous dance call-back/double role call-backs for BOTH Meg and Gloria (who knew?! Cause *I* SURE AS HELL DIDN'T), casting was officially posted in all it's finality [or so we thought] yesterday break...
Name Number Part
Angela Griswold 25 Gloria Thorpe

~ As stated within our first table reads character description: "A probing, independent, and flirtatious sportswriter that covers the Washington Senators for the local newspaper."
I'm bold.
I'm curious (or, as some would more boldly put it: obnoxious).
I'm saucy and quick-witted.
I tool around with THE DEVIL.
I'm an insanely intense dancer.
And almost everybody hates me.
I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER.

THANK YOU ALL SO INCREDIBLY MUCH FOR THE WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY WISHES!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL IMMENSELY, AND AM HIGHLY ANTICIPATING WHAT THIS YEAR WILL BRING! :D
***
Reasons Why My Birthday ROCKED: * Getting both a card and $50 in the mail from my grandpa up in Chicago, then turning round to spend said mula on a new navy dress and 3 blouses :) * Dinner at Bubba Gump's. * Having the staff at Bubba Gump's sing to me. And feed me a sundae. And THEN proceeding to have me, and I quote: "shake mah' rump", haha! * Eating some of the most GLORIOUS triple-fudge-fantasy birthday cake-- and from Costco, no doubt! * Seuss tech rehearsal, first inside the theater (haha, I know - sad, right? ;P) * Buying an amazazing $2 headband (on saaaaale) from Target :) * Getting yet ANOTHER birthday cake, special ordered, from both my padre and his girlie! * Mama buying me Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon. BEST DS GAME EVER, OK? Lololol :D * My mom also ordering me my SD SA tickets-- opening night, baby! Hliughyizfgvyfgv!!
However...
Reasons Why My Birthday SUCKED: * Constant arguments; more frequent than usual, unfortunately. * Spending most of my actual birthday waiting inside a doctor's office, for my mom's FRIEND, no joke, and watching - in confusion, I might add - D*sney-esque Spanish soap operas. And at Linens and Things. FOR MY MOM. * The rest of the SA OBC leaving the following day :[[[[[[[[[[[[ * Still on the dot :( * My "special birthday lunch" was spent at the Subway across the street. FTW! * My cake being bought in majority to my mom's wants, and only considered "half" of my birthday cake-- when asked. * My mother also being so ghetto to the point where she not only did NOT put candles in the cake, but grabbed what looked to be like an incense stick (it wasn't), lit it on fire using the stove burners, sticking it within my chunk of cake, and proceeding to have me blow it out. * Again-- arguing. Need I explain more...? * Not seeing Mama Mia! Nor The Dark Night. :(((
Still-- in essence, I'm virtually a (truly) blessed girl. Ha; after all, they've pretty much balanced one another ;P <3
First *official* Seussian dress rehearsal tomorrow night-- will be sure to photograph!!!! :D

UGH. After several, throughly well full-act reviews of Seuss. (off-book, with the exception of understudies), constant re-fittings, hair and shoe notes, show notes-- our production is finally starting to resemble that of the true GLORIOUS-NESS of Opening Night!!! :D Not that we haven't all done well before, but - I truly believe that for the first time tonight... we let loose. We finally stopped processing our motivation, had a blast, and (with the exception of our FINALE) we were at the pinnacle of our best work! However-- there has been one... plaguing setback:
Everyone's getting sick.
BLECH.
And, though I've had the blessed fortune of not catching anything as of yet, I think I just might be. My throat is a tad sore and, what with our first week soon approaching, Im'a hafta' take it pretty easy. Say hello Vitamin C and gargling boiling salt water!
Not to mention, Mariann totally jinxed me ;( When called in for our first re-fitting (in which Mrs. Roysten needed to be sure we could actually get into and out of the dresses in one piece now that they have trim), Mariann said, "It would suck if someone - and I'll probably be that one - got their period now before the show." <---- And that, my friends, is NEVER fun.
Oh ho HO. She was soooo off. THANKS Mariann :P
Ah, well. On the bright side, only 2 days left until I hit the big 1-5!!!!!!!! [If you didn't already know that, lol] Whut, whut, whut home-skillets :D (Oh, yes. Fear my badass street-ness, lulz) Feel free to throw me a surprise party for serious you guys, hahaha. <3 ~ Peace. Around the world. For generations, all ;] And please forgive me for this amazingly exciting entry, ha. *insert sarcasm here*
PS: Two randomly, slightly hilarious, facts I discovered today when reading People magazine: Kevin Federline is gonna' be playing The UPS Guy in Legally Blonde. #$%@#$%!*(, FTW?! Lolol. Also: Demi Lovato is soon to get her own D*sney Channel original series, Welcome to Mollywood. I'm actually a little embarrassed to admit that I'm extremely excited for this, OKAY?! Haha. :D
PPS: Much thanks to michellecore and her glorious generosity, for I now have an audio of Port Authority. (SQUEE!) Johnny Gallagher + an Irish brogue = one of the most adorably SEXY things I've ever heard in my entire life, spinning one of the most beautiful stories. God, I wish I had been able to see it live...! :)

Well then... Seussical must love me one HELL of a lot. I just got back from a 4. Hour. Rehearsal. Yes, ladies and gentlemen - that's right! 4 HOURS. Not that it wasn't a blast-- I'm just soooo hackin' exhausted! The entire period we were both learning/running our final number ("Green Eggs and Ham"), complete with music and swing dancing. Do you have any idea how HARD it is to mash potato?!?! Well. It is. Lol, still-- I had a great time! I just can't feel my legs is all... *dies*

My First "OFFICIAL" Day of Summer, Mon. 5/16/08 (In other words, complete and utter RANDOMOCITY):
* New breakfast cereal excites me-- Keebler's Cookie Crunch. And they say I need a hobby, psh! (Lol)
* Watched Monster House this morning. FTW, I can't believe I forgot how much I love that movie!! XD
* Was gonna' clean my room. Was too lazy. Watched SA Off-Broadway instead. Why is it that the beating scene was always so much more powerful THEN?
* Lurked around TGOs. And Facebook. And Myspace. Yep. :]
* Surprisingly-- my voice has sounded pretty damn amazazing today! Lol. Belted "Mama Who Bore/Reprise", "Green Finch and Linnet Bird", "Girl in 14G", "It's a Perfect Relationship", "One", "My Junk", "All Grown Up", and "The I Love You Song"...! XP
* Hannah Montana is... remotely amusing. PS:I am TOTES in love with Mitchell Musso, now. Wait, what?
* Had Seussical rehearsal. Learned music for "Chasing the Whos". I swear, them kids are hella' amazing (and hella' wonderful)!
* I can't wait for Wall-E. Really-- I. CAN'T. WAIT! Most adorable lil' robots ever. With the most adorable storyline ever! What moar could a girl possibly wish for?! Lol.
* Worked on several fan-fic prompts. (SA related, of course)
* Downloaded Sa 2001 workshop audio, as well as the original Atlantic script. SQUEEEEEEEE!
* Had an odd dream pertaining to JGalls as I was napping earlier this afternoon... that is all.
Haha, I apologize for this absolute utter waste of a post. I pray your own lives are thousand times more entertaining... or at least NORMAL. Lol!
PS: Hey,
I'm not completely positive of the wednesday matinee on the 16th yet, but I'm pretty sure that the 19th matinee I will be going on as Moritz. And yes, the 19th night show will be my, Skylar, Phoebe, Remy, and Lilli's last show. Talk to ya later!

1. The Cappies Student Critics of Orange County, CA Fifth Annual Awards Banquet: (Please pardon my French in advance) Thaaaaaaaat's fucking right, ladies and germs. Last night was the O.C.'s very own mini-Tony's!!!!! *insert uproarious applause here* The night was truly magnificent, taking place in that of Anaheim's glorious Grove Theatre. Those of us within The Sisters Rosensweig (which only included of me, Joey (Gorgeous), Kelli (Pfeni), Olivia (Sara), and Robbie (Tom)) were even brought to perform in front of - mind you - HUNDREDS of people, as we were nominated for Best Play! However, we didn't win... On the Twentieth Century (Best Musical, Best Song, Best Leading Actor/Actress/Comedian) didn't either!! In fact, out of all five nominations for both productions, we only managed to walk away with 2 awards. Best Leading Actress in a Play/in a Musical, both to Olivia Hernandez herself.
Whut, whut for Fullerton Union and their amazazing female roles of AWESOME...!! Lol. But, really-- it was a night to remember! Commendees even received recognition! And, apparently, we performed really, really, really, really well. Mrs. Klein couldn't stop herself from raving about us to my fifth period!! *blushes*
2. Saw Kung Fu Panda on Saturday, alongside my aunt, mom, her boyfriend, my lil' bro, and four year-old cousin. And you know what? I. LOVED. It.
3. Finished my Romeo and Juliet scrapbook on Saturday night-- I'm pleased to report it came out rather nicely! IN ADDITION: Dance Final was none but this morning. My group? Kicked ass-- although, we had some slight troubles with costuming. Still, we were fabulous nonetheless! (Or at least I'D like to think) However, I'm not looking forward to viewing the footage.
4. Seussical rehearsal earlier tonight. Blocked/learned "Oh, the Thinks You Can Think!" and, while us Bird Girls were separate from all other cast members, we held hands and "bonded". Lol, really, it was quite loverly! And added yet another reason to my list of why I love theater.
5. All last/the beginning of this week, I've taken to styling my hair as Wendla. And you know WHAT? I kinda' love it. XD (Also got 2 new shirts: a white lace, pink floral blouse and a gray Alice in Wonderland tee-shirt. Hoo-rah!)
6. All in all? My life's pretty good right now. Excluding the fact that finals are soon approaching (both Wednesday and Thursday) and today was but our last day with the seniors... *sobs* But other than that-- I'm happy as a panda can be.
