I have looked at every entry all the way back to July 30th.. I'm looking for a photo that someone from NYC took of a street corner, over an 8 or so hour period, of all the tourists taking photos. It was edited to look like 1 single photo.

My coworker is having a baby soon and i want to make a Disney princess blanket for the baby. Since my coworker is African-American, I want to make a Princess and the Frog-themed blanket (so the little girl or boy will have a heroine to look up to). I'm looking for fabric (preferably fleece but i can work with anything else) that has Princess Tiana on it (or frogs if it is a boy) but I can't find any. Is Disney waiting to put any out or am i just looking in the wrong places? I can find fabric of all the "white" princesses but none with Tiana on them. My coworker said that if I couldn't find any Tiana fabric that I could use Jasmine as a substitute but come on, we're talking a future little princess here and I don't want her baby blanket to have a substitute princess. Any help would be great and I'l post a picture of the baby blanket when or if it gets finished.

Finally, the last installment of our Walt Disney World trip during October! So we bought tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for the nights of October 8th and 9th. Sadly no cast member discounts, so we had to pay full price. But holy cow it was worth it, because after several years of going to Mickey's Trick or Treat Party in California Adventure, I can now say that Florida's Halloween parties kick our parties' ASS. Florida is better in every way, not only do they have way more characters and way more treat trails, you get to wear almost any costume into the MAGIC KINGDOM (which is not allowed at D*sneyland). Sure, I had known about this event for years, but actually experiencing it kinda blew my mind.


The first night I wore Giselle, Kat wore Mary Poppins, and Jen wore Belle.

Does anyone know where you can get mock duck in town? I've been to a few different Whole Foods and health food places, and everyone I ask goes, "Mock... what?" It's like seitan; it comes in a can; it's essentially wheat gluten and is also sometimes called vegetarian duck. Anybody know where I can get it?

Additionally, Fantastic Foods used to make a really yummy vegetarian sloppy joe mix that I can no longer find anywhere. Whole Foods in Union Square used to carry it but no longer does; anyone seen it lately? (Your favorite vegetarian sloppy joe recipes are also welcome.)
